1. Horse Show
Sue hosted my workshop and her daughter, Stephanie, age 15, attended except for a brief interlude to show a hose at her college that had been culled from the mounted police force. This horse had a reputation for being somewhat difficult and Stephanie did a beautiful job jumping him. We stopped by her school to watch her go on our way to A horse sanctuary to practice our work. |

2. Country Cottage
The drive to the sanctuary took us through some beautiful countryside. I cannot resist sharing some of the images from this drive. |

3. Beautiful Country
Spring green and rolling fields. Here is a bridge for walkers to cross the river. |

4. Clicker Trained Sheep?
We totally cracked up with hysterical laughter at the sight of this sheep "Standing Tall" like my clicker trained horses do. |

5. Narrow Country Lane
These narrow country lanes captured my affection. I was, however, glad I was not driving on them. |

6. Belinda and Friend
Belinda has established a sanctuary for unwanted and abused horses. Meeting her was one of the highlights of my trip. (Right up there with shaking the hand of Prince Charles at the Tower of London!) |

7. A New Forest Pony
This little gal was not approachable. She did keep a close watch on our activities. Belinda asked about ways to gain her trust and we settled on a positive reinforcement routine where every time the pony put her ears forward, the person would say, "Good," in a soothing tone. The pony rather enjoyed having that kind of control over us. |

8. Claire makes Progress
Using essential oils, Claire was able to get very close to this mare. All previous attempts to connect with her had resulted in threatening postures with teeth and hooves involved. |

9. Hands On
Large and small alike enjoyed the energy balancing work. Those not directly involved soaking in the loving rays from afar. This afternoon ranks as one of the most pleasant I've ever spent. Good people. Good animals and a place registered as one of exceptional beauty; all combined to create magic. |

 |
10. Hands On
All of the horses who received it, enjoyed the hands on work. Workshop participants explored dowsing, essential oils. Working from a distance and hands on in endless combination. |

11. Peaceful Existence
Hats off to Belinda and people like her who extend love and a peaceful existence to horses (and other animals) who have seen the worst that a relationship with humans can offer. This group is well on the road to physical and emotional recovery. |

12. Helping Themselves
While we were busy with others, these two decided to help themselves. |
